Mother Nuzzling Child at Eagle Early Learning Center

Our Teaching Staff

Our staff members are chosen for their dedication to young children and their families.

Every staff member has obtained a degree in Early Childhood Development or Elementary Education.

At Eagle Early Learning Center, we pride ourselves on the individual attention that we provide for every child, in a flexible, experience-centered learning environment.

First Aid and CPR

Every teacher at EELC is certified in CPR and First Aid by the American Red Cross.

The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is the nation's largest and most influential organization of early childhood educators and others dedicated to improving the quality of programs for children from birth through third grade.

The Treasure Valley Association for the Education of Young Children (TVAEYC) is an affiliate group that works to improve the professional practice and working conditions in early childhood education and to build public support for high quality early childhood programs.

Teachers at Eagle Early Learning Center follow the Reggio Emilia approach to instruction, a resource and inspiration to help educators, parents, and children as they work together to develop their own learning programs.

She divides her time between teaching, mentoring other EELC teachers, and managing the Eagle Early Learning Center.

Eagle Early Learning Center Teachers

Miss Mary

Miss Mary has always been interested in education and feels that the development of a strong foundation for life-long learning is of utmost importance. She has earned a B.S. in Elementary Education from Mayville State University, with a minor in early childhood education, and a concentration in special education and reading. Mary has been teaching and involved in early childhood education since 1983, and is licensed by the state of Idaho to teach Kindergarten through 8th grade. The best part of her work at EELC is seeing the delight in children’s faces when they learn from new experiences. It gratifies her when parents tell her that children talk about things they did at EELC when they’re not in school, even months later. She enjoys seeing how the children benefit and grow from the love and dedication of the whole EELC team.

Miss Ryann

Miss Ryann has been with Eagle Early Learning Center for five years, and has been working in early childhood education for nine years. She has earned an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Boise State University, and is an active member of the NAEYC and TVAEYC. Miss Ryann, like every other staff member at EELC, is certified with the Red Cross in CPR and First Aid. She finds it rewarding to watch children at EELC learn and grow throughout their early years.

Miss Sarah

Miss Sarah has been a part of EELC since early in 2002. She’s been involved in Early Childhood Education for 16 years, and holds a B.S. in Child Development and Family Relations from the University of Idaho. Sarah’s experience includes time with a private resource and referral agency that assisted families with finding quality childcare, and teaching for the Headstart program. Sarah is an active member in both the Treasure Valley Association for the Education of Young Children, and the National Association for the Education of Young Children. She believes that the best part of working at EELC is seeing how the children benefit and grow from the love and dedication of the whole EELC team.

At Eagle Early Learning Center, we pride ourselves on the individual attention that we provide for every child, in a flexible, experience-centered learning environment.
